California meets City Hall
Fresh from her “magical - and profoundly moving - performance” with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra at the 2019 All Together Now festival (see this Hotpress review, this ‘Best of the Festival’ write-up and our Facebook page for details), the brilliant Suzanne Savage (vocals and violin) joined our pianist Maria for a very special civil ceremony at Dublin’s City Hall.
Bride Christina and Groom Michael had flown in from California the evening immediately beforehand, and gave Suzanne and Maria full creative freedom regarding their musical choices – an opportunity which our duo relished! Guests were entertained pre- and post-ceremony with Celtic airs celebrating the couple’s Irish heritage, while highlights during the ceremony included Suzanne’s haunting rendition of She Moved Through the Fair as Christina walked up the aisle.

Thank you, Christine and Mike, for giving us the opportunity to be a part of your magical wedding ceremony!
Our Signature Trio
at Adam and Eve’s
Rachel (voice), Maria (piano) and Feilimidh (violin) were delighted to perform at Imelda and Jim's wedding ceremony in the beautiful Church of the Immaculate Conception (Adam and Eve's), Merchant Quay, Dublin 8.
Imelda had heard us earlier in the year at a friend’s wedding, and approached us for her own ceremony as we finished our Recessional music that day!
We were all treated to a friend of the family’s, a piper, playing Raglan Road as Imelda walked up the aisle — perfect for a wedding rooted in the historic Liberties area of the city. Without any speech, our trio entered seamlessly with Adele's To Make You Feel my Love for the lighting of Imelda and Jims’ candles.
The ceremony featured stunning folk music by Eva Cassidy (Songbird) and Sting (Fields of Gold), pop gems by Ed Sheeran (Thinking Out Loud) and Ellie Goulding (How Long Will I Love You?), as well as the traditional Ag Críost an Síól and On Eagle's Wings. Imelda and Jim opted to have their Mass parts sung, so our trio chose the Alleluia, Holy Holy, Memorial Acclamation and Lamb of God from Fr. Liam Lawton's recently composed Glendalough Mass. The Lark in the Clear Air also made an unexpected instrumental appearance as the happy couple took some time to enjoy the moment and embrace their family and friends post-vows.
Imelda and Jim left the church on a celebratory bang with Elbow's One Day Like This — a song loved by the bride, who had let us know in advance that she would pause at the altar for a few moments to relish the opening bars before going on to enjoy the rest of her day!
Our Signature Trio at Donore Avenue
Leanne (voice), Maria (piano) and Anne-Marie (violin) performed at Kim and David’s beautiful wedding Mass in St. Teresa’s Church, Donore Avenue, Dublin 8 on a wonderful sunny day in May.
As an old parish church not accustomed to many wedding ceremonies, the crowd included lots of local curious parishioners, all of whom were delighted to enjoy the wonderful talents of our Signature Trio.
Kim and David had heard Feilimidh (violin) and Maria (piano) perform as a duo the previous year, and made the booking for their own ceremony a full year and a half in advance.
Kim walked up the aisle to a violin and piano arrangement of Pachabel’s Canon in D, and the ceremony featured a wonderful variety of classical, pop and Irish traditional church music, including Adele’s To Make You Feel my Love (at the Lighting of the Candles); Fr. Liam Lawton’s The Cloud’s Veil (Psalm) and the Glendalough Mass (Alleluia, Holy Holy, Memorial Acclamation and Lamb of God); Peter Gabriel’s The Book of Love for the Lighting of the Unity Candle; The Prayer (Céline Dion and Andrea Boccelli), How Long Will I Love You (Ellie Goulding), and Feels Like Home (Chantal Kreviazuk) for Communion. Our Signature Trio performed Moon River and The One (Kodaline) at the Signing of the Register, and Be My Forever (Christina Perri) was the uplifting Recessional music.
It was a wonderful occasion, and we were delighted to receive the highest compliments at the end of the ceremony: two wedding bookings made on the spot!
Congratulations and best wishes to Kim and David for their future!
